Dave Salka’s passion for drums started at the age of 13 when his parents bought his first drum set.  He grew up in Walnut Creek, California and attended Northgate High School where he played in the school jazz band sophomore through senior years.  Dave has played in numerous Rock/Funk cover bands over the years and has a serious addiction to drumming.  

 

When not playing with SOUNDCHECK, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife, son and step daughter.  He works as a respiratory therapist, but would much rather snow ski, jet ski, go camping or play music.
